Este verano participé de la antología "Changos es puro cuento" junto a un montón de colegas grosos con los que venimos haciendo la revista Changos. Un lujo total. Aquí Tonio, la tortuga futbolera conoce al Principito, quien le pregunta ¿qué es el fútbol?

This summer I took part in "Changos es puro cuento" a comic anthology for children, with a lot of great artists. Here, "Tonio" the footballer turtle meets "The Petit Prince", who asks him "what´s football?"

A partir de septiembre estaremos realizando junto a Esteban Sterle, Humberto Miranda, Santiago Maissonave, Germán Genga, Valentín Lerena, Chester Greenbag y otros dibujantes, guionistas y gestores una revista mensual de historietas con temática marplatense/regional, llamada UHAMPA Viene junto al diario cultural CP7612 y es gratuito.
Para los que no lo puedan conseguir en papel pueden leer el PDF o en e-book que se sube mensualmente al grupo de FB de CP 7612. Tambien pueden agregarse al grupo de UHAMPA en FB para estar al tanto de las novedades.

tiempo atrás hicimos una muestra para una historieta europea de "línea clara" (a lo Asterix o Tin Tin) con mi amigo Valentin Lerena. la prueba consistía en dibujar el célebre "Rainbow Orchid" de Garen Ewin. dibujo y color hechos por mí, entintado por Valentín Lerena.

Time Ago We did a sample for a "ligne claire" comic (like Asterix or Tin Tin) with my friend Valentin Lerena. We had to draw Garen Ewin´s well-known "Rainbow Orchid" as a trial sample. pencil & colors by me, inks by Valentín Lerena.

"THE NEW MANKIND" A GREAT REVIEW

Here´s Dave West´s review about the comic,

"I've read the first three issues of The New Mankind, and must say that I really enjoyed them. The art is pretty solid, the colouring vibrant and the story very interesting, and it has me hooked. I really want to pick up issue 4 to find out just what the heck is going on. To me that's the sign of a good comic, and the only thing that really counts when it comes down to it. Getting your readers to want to read more is the most important thing to do with a comic. Yours certainly does that."

"The New Mankind" creative process - proceso creativo

This is how Aaron and Pablo make this comic possible: it starts with the Aaron´s script,
then goes to the artist who draws sketches, then ink, then color and lettering in this order.
Here we see the creative process for Clock part3, page 1. and the general guidelines as well.

Asi es cómo Aaron y yo hacemos posible este comic: Aaron comienza con el guión, luego me lo pasa y hago los lápices, tinta, color y letreado en ese orden.

New year, new perspective.

Con el año nuevo se vienen deseos nuevos. Luego de estar dibujando de forma digital por años he retomado la idea de volver al papel, en proyectos que (yo crea que) lo requieran.
Con Valentín Lerena hemos retomado las historias del Cuis. veremos cómo continua.
en este caso el dibujo está hecho a pincel con tinta, un placer artístico lejos de mi wacom.

New Year comes with new wishes. After being doing digital artwork for years I resumed my desire of returning to draw on paper, for specific projects that (I think) it requires it.
With Valentin Lerena we also resumed "Cuis" stories. Let´s see how far we go with it.
in this opportunity the drawing is done with brush and ink, an artistic pleasure away from my wacom.
